I’ve never owned any tea towels before, so I’ve been curious how they work and whether they look good, so I bought a pack of these vintage tea towels to experiment with. The vintage tea towels were all handwoven and had the same cotton pattern (which I found to be pretty cute). I think they ended up looking very similar to vintage bath towels, which is sort of interesting.
Ive never tried them myself, but my mom is a tea towel maker, and I am pretty sure she would have no problem with these tea towels. The reason I ask is because they look like the kind of towel you would use to dry your hair. Ive done it before but Ive never had a chance to try it, so it would be fun to try it out.

The great thing about this approach is that it is easier on your fingers and it can be done at home. For the cost of a hot glue gun and a sewing machine, you can actually build your own tea towels.
The idea of sewing tea towels together is great, but there are a few reasons why this isn’t the right way to do it. First, you’re going to have to decide what your pattern would look like. All you need to do is measure the fabric, then cut it in half. Then you can follow the instructions of each manufacturer’s website to cut the fabric according to their instructions. Or you can just cut a huge piece of fabric and cut each corner by hand.
