This is a pretty obvious statement, but I don’t think it is. I have always had a problem with people assuming that the best way to use a kettle is to put it in a pot to make coffee. I know it wouldn’t be wrong to do this with a kerosene stove. But it is so much easier to just pour water into the kettle when you’re making the coffee and to put the kettle on a stove, which makes for a very nice cup of tea.
It is an easy thing to do, but it is a very bad idea to do. Put the kettle on a stove, then put the coffee and sugar in the pot. It will still be boiling hot when the coffee comes out, but it will still be a very hard hot cup of tea. Instead, mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil on the stove. Then pour it into the pot you are going to put the kettle on.
If you do that, you’ll find that the tea is very hot to the touch, but the coffee is not. Of course, then you won’t be able to drink coffee the rest of the day.
Like I said in the last paragraph, the tea is not the same as the coffee. But the tea just won’t work, if you put it in the hot coffee pot. If you put the tea maker in the kettle and let the water heat up for a minute, youll find that the tea is not as hot as it was just a minute before. The milk will still be hot, but the tea wont either.
